When You Arrive

  1. Do not go in if the person is drunk or aggressive
  2. Check how the front door locks
  3. Only take into the house what you need
  4. Study your surroundings, know the exits
  5. Try to sit nearest the door, Don’t get trapped
  6. Try not to react to bad, dirty or smelly surroundings
  7. Remain alert, watch for mood, movement or expressions
  8. Take care with documents you do not wish them to see
  9. If you feel at risk, make an excuse and leave
  10. If prevented from leaving or threatened, stay calm and try to control the situation.
  11. Use a code word on the telephone for example
